Pottery Workshop

・Handling of the potter’s wheel: Use your imagination and 600g of clay to fashion your pottery piece at Kobushi Kiln.
・Forming with coils: Form clay into coils, stack up clay rings, and form the arrangement into the desired shape (mainly making a cup, tea cup, small bowl, or vase).
・Slab building: First, spread clay in the shape of a board (tatara), and then, form into something flat, like a plate.

The piece you make in the workshop will be kept there until after drying, finishing and biscuit firing, it is completed by glost firing with namako glaze (blue) or white glaze. Then it will be delivered to you.
*It will take approximately one to three months to complete.

・Workshop fee: 2,600 yen
・Time required: 1 hour and 30 minutes

Please make a reservation at least two or three days before the preferred date of the workshop.

・Workshop fee: 2,000 to 3,500 yen
